About the role
We’re looking for an Associate Technical Lead or Technical Lead who enjoys building enterprise-grade systems that genuinely scale and who knows that great engineering is as much about people and process as it is about code.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise solutions for a global leader in food product marketing and distribution
- Implement distributed, highly robust applications that meet enterprise-scale demands
- Architect and implement scalable software solutions and document design decisions clearly
- Carry out detailed technical design of software components and integrations
- Scope and break down user stories into clear, achievable technical tasks
- Implement technical designs — including coding, calling existing services, and creating new components
What we look for
- 7+ years of experience developing production enterprise applications and leading engineering teams
- Extensive full-stack experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, HTML5, Java, Spring, JavaScript/ES6, Node.js, and React
- Deep understanding of the technology stack — HTTP, browser/JS engine architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, Linux, containers, and virtual machines
- Proven ability to architect, design, and implement highly available, scalable web applications
- Strong database skills across RDBMS, NoSQL, and shared storage platforms
- Experience with DevOps practices and cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
